The High Desert Observer, ASLC's Award Winning Bulletin
HDO Thumbnail

One of the great benefits of membership in the ASLC is regular e-delivery of the High Desert Observer. Each month, The HDO covers recent and upcoming club and member activities. There are feature stories on astronomy research and techniques, and recent member astrophotos. The bulletin also includes business items discussed at the previous ASLC meeting.

The HDO was a Mabel Sterns Award recipient in 2007 and 2008. The award is given annually by the Astronomical League for outstanding astronomy club bulletins. Members automatically receive an electronic copy of the bulletin each month.

You are welcome to download a free (pdf) copy of the most recent edition. The contents are listed below. Just click here or on the image on the right to download your copy. You may also view/download archived copies of the HDO dating back to 2005. Happy reading!
