The Clear Sky Clock (CSC) is an invaluable resource for astronomers. Not only does CSC forecast cloud cover, wind, rain and temperature, but it also predicts transparency, and seeing (a measure of the turbulance due to wind and temperature currents in the atmosphere). Only cloud cover and transparency are shown in the thumbnail clocks, above. Clicking on the thumbnails will open a complete CSC for Las Cruces, or one of ASLC's two public outreach venues.
